Leadership Training Application
Participation in our young leader program is an opportunity for former campers to deepen their leadership and communication skills.
Young leaders will be given year-round training, participate in camper gatherings, and other projects. A selected number of young leaders will attend Creativity for Peace’s summer camp in New Mexico to serve as junior counselors.

Requirements:
- 17 years of age
- Attendance in one previous summer camp and participation in follow-up meetings back home.
- English proficiency
- Completion of the essay questions
- Must be available for one three-week camp session.
- If you are accepted to work at camp, you will need to complete the medical, legal, media, and Mountain Center release forms.
Essay: Please briefly answer the following questions in English:
- What leadership skills do I now possess and can offer Creativity for Peace?
- What leadership skills do I feel the need for further training?
- How do I see the role of the Young Leader at camp?
- After attending Creativity for Peace, how would you now describe a good listener?
- What suggestions/advice do you have for this summer’s camp?
