Volunteers Support 2011 Summer Camp
Volunteers made a tremendous contribution to this year’s summer program. Over 100 people took part in over 165 separate opportunities, including camp set-up and take-down, airport runs, preparation of meals, bodywork treatments for staff, chaperoning field trips, van driving, helping at the Open House and Feast for Peace events, organizing the girls’ circle, leading art projects, shopping, and even laundry. Much appreciation to everyone who made this summer a success!
PeaceWorks

Peaceworks is a group dedicated to making beautiful handmade gifts for campers. This year volunteers spent an evening with the girls sharing their love of handcrafts. Peaceworks meets regularly. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Phoebe Girard at phoebesf@comcast.net.
Volunteers Honored, May 2011
On May 12, at the home of Linda Osborne, 60 people joined Creativity for Peace staff and board for a reception honoring our volunteers.
Volunteer coordinator Frances Salles described opportunities throughout the year and executive director Dottie Indyke provided an update on
the 2011 summer program as well as year-round activities in Israel and Palestine. This is the third annual event held in appreciation of the
150-plus volunteers who generously give their time and talent to Creativity for Peace.
