Kirsten Szykitka

Kirsten is one of Creativity for Peace’s newest volunteers. Recently relocated from Oaxaca, Mexico, she was moved to become involved as soon as she learned about Creativity for Peace’s work. During summer 2011 she organized a girls’ circle where Palestinians and Israelis met with American girls to learn about each other’s lives.

Kirsten has worked building trails with high school students in Denali National Park and traveling with a group of young adults in India. Her background includes organic farming and seed-saving. In recent years she is most inspired by helping individuals to understand themselves and others.
